在附件里的文章里,图一用了流式和DNA测序,我一直未看懂这个流程和图,
这是比较新的应用吧,想请问图一用流式测细菌中的DNA含量,鉴定出有几类细菌,后面为什么有何细菌的指纹图谱联系起来了?
到底流式在其中的作用是什么?
请专业人士讲讲图1到底是怎样做的,以及其目的。

Overview of the combined analysis of aqueous microbial ecosystems that consists of the proposed flow cytometry pipeline (left panels) and the benchmark sequencing pipeline (right panels). Both workflows aim to assess the biodiversity in the sampled environment through diversity metrics and to use this information for ecological hypothesis testing or systems monitoring. The cytometric analysis includes a nucleic acid staining and flow cytometric measurement followed by subsequent data extraction (a), data denoizing (b, gated on fluorescence channel), binned kernel density estimation (c) and diversity calculation (‘phenotypic diversity’). The analysis of three potential bivariate signal channels is shown as an example. In parallel, the benchmark sequencing workflow requires the filtration of the sample matrix, DNA extraction and PCR-based high-throughput 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing followed by specific bioinformatics tools to generate the taxonomic fingerprint and its species diversity.
